All citizens who will receive a car fine will be notified by phone message.

In a meeting with Tirana police leaders, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, said that everyone should have an account in e-Albania.

"We call on every citizen that if he is notified at the moment of receiving a penalty for a traffic violation, he should log in to e-Albania. The phone number is there, and when he commits a traffic violation, he receives a message on his phone."

"This will be done in real time. Thus, the citizen is notified and within 15 days can pay the fine in the amount of 10 percent of the value received," said the director of the police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku./ CNA
