"One for integration, the other for coming to power"/ Muçi:

Joint Movement MP Redi Muçi spoke this evening about the agreement reached between the DP and the SP on the resolution on integration.

In a television appearance, Muçi said that the resolution has no particular importance, while also explaining why he voted in favor of its adoption. Among other things, he added that Prime Minister Edi Rama's strategy to join the EU is similar to the one pursued by the Democratic Party of Albania to come to power.

"Since it is the expression of the will of the MPs for integration, the vote was in favor. EU integration is a process that has been going on for 40 years and when for 40 years we say we are making steps forward, there is a limit to this. I have compared Rama's strategy for the EU to the one that the DP is following to come to power. Unable to reform itself, it simply waits to fall into the lap of power, for Albanians to get tired of the SP. Even Rama is waiting behind the EU door to let us into the Union ," said the MP. /CNA
