The event in Gramsh/ Security expert: Albanian authorities reacted late

Bedri Elezi, a security expert, said that even more disturbing than the intervention of the Russian forces in Gramsh, is their arrest after the denunciation of the citizens.

According to him, the two Russians and the Ukrainian who entered the weapons depot in Gramsh are a security risk and were not being monitored as Minister Peleshi said, since if that was the case, they would not have been arrested after the citizen's denunciation.

Elezi said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the event could escalate precisely because the Albanian authorities reacted late and did not have them under direct surveillance.

Two Russian citizens and 1 Ukrainian attacked with neuro-paralyzing spray the two Albanian soldiers who were in the weapons factory in Gramsh.

In their testimony, they have said that they are bloggers and mainly photographed military territories that are abandoned and no longer used by the state./euronews
