The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, held a meeting with Dutch business representatives currently operating in Albania, as well as with new potential investors, interested in expanding their activity in our country in important sectors.

Balluku spoke about the project of the Port of Durrës and the new airports that are expected to be built in Albania, where he touched on that of Vlora.

"We are realizing a big project, the biggest resort in the Durrës area, which will once and for all change the entire sector in the seaport.

We continue to work very closely together. We are conducting constructive debates and discussions and have managed to meet the company's requirements within the framework of transparency and Albanian legislation.

We are working to create new sources of energy.

We have started to transform the civil aviation sector, ensuring that by the end of 2025 we will have two international airports. One of the airports in the region has started to be built in the south of Albania, in Vlora, which aims to offer flight services across the sea, which is not done in the region.

"Vlora will be able to host all tourists, and will turn Albania into a key center for the Western Balkans," said Balluku./ AE-CNA.al
