On Christmas Eve/ Increased flow at the Kapshtica border crossing point

On Christmas Eve, an increased flow was recorded at the Kapshtica border crossing point.

According to information from customs authorities, the flow is mainly at the entrance to Albanian territory, as many Albanian immigrants are returning to their homeland to celebrate Christmas with their families.

Currently, three entrance counters and two exit counters are being operated, while two special counters for buses are also in operation.

According to official data, accelerated registration for vehicles with Greek license plates has also begun.

Despite the flow of vehicles, the situation is being managed by the Border Police with the aim of avoiding long queues and reducing waiting time for travelers. /CNA
