Prime Minister Edi Rama has called the declaration of Vjosa a National Park an important moment for Albania.

From Tepelena, Rama said that today the last wild river in Europe is being protected forever.

"It is an extremely important moment for our country because we sanction what we have longed for, what we committed to when we received the mandate to govern and to make it a reality it took us time for a thousand and one reasons, the announcement of Vjosa National Park.
