The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has responded to the statements of the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, saying that the candidates who emerged from the Primaries are emerging from the most democratic system.

"Our candidates are superior to any kind of opponent because they were chosen by the most democratic system", said Meta.

Further, Meta commented on the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding the case of "Becchetti", who said that he will leave that jurisdiction as the decision they made is a scandalous thing.

He told the media that his anomaly has returned to the election. According to Meta, Rama is ready to take Albania out of orbit to protect his interests.
