Mentor Kikia makes a strong statement/ "I was beaten by SHIK people"

Journalist Mentor Kikia has stated that he was once beaten by SHIK people because he had written an article that the prosecutor of Tirana did not like.

In an interview with journalist Erla Mëhilli, he stated, among other things, that the media in those conditions of pressure had more value because it was power, while today it has turned into a business.

" There was pressure from the authorities, violence. Personally, I was beaten by people in power, by SHIK agents. I was together with my colleague Afred Peza, I was stopped, I was arrested. I had written an article that was not liked by the Tirana prosecutor who had given the order: take him, arrest him. But under these conditions of pressure, the media had more value; it was power, today it is just business ", said Kikia./ CNA.al
