The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that Pope Benedict XVI will be long remembered for his enlightened work by all people regardless of their religious faith.

Through a post on social networks where he shared a photo from the former meeting with Pope Benedict, he said that his prayer joins that of hundreds of people for his soul to find the peace it deserves.

Në këtë ceremoni morën pjesë besimtarë të shumtë nga të katërta anët e botës si dhe dignitar dhe qeveritarë nga vende të ndryshme.

Si një nga figurat më të shquara të Kishës Katolike me kontribute historike në reformimin e saj dhe shtyllë kryesore e mendimit teoligjik dhe konservator botëror Papa Benedict i XVI do të nderohet gjithmonë për veprën e tij të ndritur jo vetëm nga besimtarët katolik, por edhe njerëzit e besimeve të tjera në mbarë botën.
