Road Safety Expert Fatmir Hasha spoke about this event, stating that the Arbri road should not have been opened, as it is still unfinished.
In the meantime, he said that among the main reasons for accidents are speed exceeding the permitted rates, wrong overtaking, use of the telephone and consumption of alcohol.
"This road has not been completed and should not have been opened, and if I were to predict accidents, I would look at these parts that have had higher risks.
In the part where the accident happened, I see that the part of the drivers is the main cause of the accident. The main causes of accidents are speed exceeding the normal allowed speed, wrong overtaking, use of the phone and alcohol", he said. /CNA.al
