British media "Express": Albania, a better alternative than the

An article published in the British daily "Express" writes about Albania, the Mediterranean country that offers crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and an experience similar to the Maldives, and only three hours away from London.

This recommendation comes at a time when intercontinental flight prices have increased by over 30 percent, making travel to exotic destinations like the Maldives unaffordable for many tourists.

Unlike the 12-hour journey to the Maldives, the flight to Albania takes less than three hours, while return tickets cost an average of 100 to 130 pounds – much cheaper than the 600 to 1200 pounds required for the Maldives.

The Albanian Riviera, especially the southern area with the beaches of Ksamil and Saranda, offers a crystal clear sea and magnificent landscapes that make it an ideal alternative for luxury holidays without having to travel far.

The blue waters and beaches of Albania offer a relaxing and unforgettable escape, comparable to the Caribbean or the Maldives, but much closer and more affordable.

This combination of the Mediterranean coast with high mountains makes the country unique in the region.

Tourism experts point out that, due to the uncertainty of international travel, nearby European destinations such as Albania are a safer and more economical choice for British tourists. In addition to beaches and nature, the country offers a rich culture, thousands of years of history and traditional hospitality - elements that make the experience even more special.

Albania is thus becoming one of Europe's most attractive summer vacation destinations, being described by experts as an "open secret" that can rival the Maldives, but at a much lower cost and with easier access for tourists from the United Kingdom and other countries on the continent.
