The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, is speaking at the meeting of the National Council of the DP.

Berisha said that the mission of the democrats separates the narco-state from democracy.

The head of the DP declared that Albania is in the hands of the enemy of the vote, Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"All these attributes of yours make today's meeting of this forum have a special importance, which has not had any other meeting since the re-establishment of the DP, because if in the last meeting of the National Council, we still had not realized completely none of our three major objectives, today we gather because two of our three major objectives, for the achievement of our mission, we have fulfilled.

The realization of these two objectives means that today Albania is in a new reality, which until a short time ago would have seemed impossible.
Briefly, I will dedicate a few words to the two objectives that we have achieved.
But first I will start by reminding you once again, the importance, the purpose of our mission.
Dear members of the National Council, democrats wherever you are.

In March 1992, when PD came to power for the first time, in the victory speech I addressed the Albanians with these words: Happy first day of democracy.
Those words best synthesize the mission of this party at that time, because with that act DP divided the eras for Albania. Those words separated ideological dictatorship from democracy.

Similarly, when DP wins next year, and I emphasize this: victory next year is in our hands. So when PD wins next year, the victory speech will open with the words: Happy first day of the return of democracy.
This my friends is the importance of our mission.

Our mission ultimately separates the narco-state from democracy. Our mission finally frees Albania from the most vicious internal invasion that has been done to this country. Our mission saves Albania," Berisha said./ CNA
