"From July 1, we will have the promised salary increase for about 30 thousand teachers of our education system. The increase is historic, if we take all salary increases, this is the highest. We will have an average monthly salary increase of around 180 euros per month, and if we were to convert it into annual salaries, it is about 3 more salaries that will benefit the teachers", said Minister Ogerta Manastirliu.

In the meeting with teachers of upper secondary education, Manastirliu said that for teachers of upper secondary education, with the qualification, position and seniority of an average of 15 years, the salary is 98,500 ALL/month. The Minister of Education and Sports said that the amount of remuneration for teachers according to the category of qualification has also been increased, doubling the payment for the qualification for the categories "Qualified teacher" and "Specialist teacher" and increasing it by 50% for the category "Master teacher". .
