Resistance continues/Another protest today in front of the municipality of Tirana, against Veliaj

A protest has been called by the opposition this Friday morning in front of Tirana City Hall, where the resignation of Mayor Veliaj is demanded, after the arrest of his directors for what is known as the "5D" affair.

The protest is expected to start at 11 o'clock, as the opposition has called on the citizens to join this protest.

This is the 14th protest in front of Tirana City Hall, organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre.

As CNA previously reported, Veliaj "escaped" from the protest and went to Istanbul this Friday.

We remind you that in relation to the "5D" file, SPAK has arrested 3 of the directors of the Municipality of Tirana, Taulant Tusha, Redi Molla and Mariglen Qato, as well as put several other officials of the municipality under investigation.

Also, SPAK questioned the mayor Erion Veliaj about the Tirana incinerator affair./ CNA
