This Friday's protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana lasted about an hour, where the resignation of Erion Veliaj was demanded.

Citizens protested with banners against Veliaj and his directors who are behind bars for the incinerator affair and the "5D" file, or even for those who are under investigation.

Protesters burned tires and "clashed" with the police, after the latter threw foam and water to put out the fire.

Protesters again threw eggs at the town hall building and the protesters.

Meanwhile, the DP leader for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, warned that there will be protests again next week and on July 11.
