Agreement for immigrants/ Meloni: 334 million euros per year for housing centers

The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, has stated that the annual cost for the accommodation centers will reach the figure of 334 million euros, which, according to her, constitutes 7.5% of the treatment of immigrants in the national territory.

Meloni emphasized that there has been a decrease in the number of immigrants on the shores of Italy after the agreement with Albania.

"The Ministry of the Interior has announced a competition for transport expenses that reach the figure of 13.5 million euros. There are 334 million euros per year, which constitute 7.5% of the treatment of immigrants in the national territory. This year we have achieved a decrease in the number of immigrants who have arrived in Italy's prisons", said Meloni./ CNA
