Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting with her Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, where the focus of the discussion was the agreement on the sea with Greece.

In her statement to the media, Xhaçka said that both sides have expressed a compromise to refer the case to the Hague Court.

"We have an understanding to address and seek solutions for all issues, one of which was the agreement with the sea, both sides have the will for a compromise to refer the issues to The Hague, cooperation, such as social fields, culture, are bridge for deepening cooperation. The product is also our demand for the negotiation and signing of pensions, which will benefit the Albanians who work and live in Albania, as far as the situation in the region is concerned, but also further, Dendias comes from a regional tour, we talked about the region and Europe, we condemn the attack on Ukraine, the integration of the Western Balkans takes priority and includes Kosovo. Greece is supportive of our integration and allow me to thank you for this vital process", said Xhaçka./ CNA.al
