The changes in the road code have sparked debates today in the Commission for Productive Activities, Trade and the Environment.

The deputy of Lulzim Basha, Lefter Gështenja, has proposed that 50% of the parking lots should be paid and the rest be free.

" The number of posts on all roads must be at least 50% free of charge. In order not to leave room for the local government of any wing to abuse, but to sanction it with a code.

Marrim një rrugë në Tiranë, që ka 100% rrugë me pagesë, jo ne e lëmë 50 me 50%, Nga bashkia s’kemi patur ndonjë shkresë apo reagim për ta kundërshtuar”, ka thënë Gështenja.

Propozimi i Kryetarit të Komisionit, Arben Pëllumbi, që të lihen të dyja nocionet dhe të jetë e Këshilli Bashkiak që ta implementojë ndryshimin në varësi të zonës dhe rrugës, nuk është pranuar nga Gështenja.
