MANIPULATION/ There is no report to SPAK for the TIMS scandal

The scandal of the theft of data from the TIMS system of the State Police implicates two former Ministers of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi and Taulant Balla, both of whom were placed on safe lists for the parliamentary elections of May 11, by the Prime Minister, 1 former Director General of the Police and a large number of other officials of various police ranks.
The Parliamentary Investigative Committee, after questioning those implicated, prepared a report for abuse of office addressed to the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK).
The Assembly was obliged to submit this report to SPAK but did not do so.
The Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, chairman of the parliamentary investigative committee on the TIMS issue, already convicted, after finding that the Assembly had not submitted the report to SPAK, declared, on September 6, 2024, that he himself had submitted the materials of the Investigative Committee to the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK).
Yesterday, the media published the decision of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office to take the Director of the IT Department of the State Police, Ervin Muça, as a defendant, a development that makes one suspect that SPAK has not been engaged in this matter because it has never received any report.
Officially, the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) confirmed, this morning, that no report has been submitted to its secretariat regarding the TIMS case.
The theft of TIMS data was carried out by people with criminal records, who were urgently catapulted as directors, at the top of the State Police, by order of ministers Çuçi and Balla and with the signature of the former Director General.
I promise Albanians that the criminal report for the TIMS scandal, which includes the two former Interior Ministries and others, will be sent to the SPAK secretariat within a week.
Enough of crime without punishment!
