Balluku: We aim for Albania to reach 1 billion exports in 2030

The government's number two, and also the Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, held a meeting with the executives of the ALBASEED company, a leader in the import and wholesale of a diverse range of agricultural inputs.

Balluku has stated that the Albanian government aims for Albania to achieve 1 billion exports by 2030.

He also emphasized that another goal is to subsidize biological plant protection, which allows Albanian products to enter European supermarkets.  

"In all the meetings with farmers, the biggest problem we've heard is the quality of the seed. If you give farmers poor quality seed and the farmer wastes time and the yield is low, then that's a big problem."

Before sharing the seed with farmers, you need to test it.

The Albanian government aims to reach one billion agricultural exports by 2030.

"We also aim to subsidize biological protection that enables Albanian products to enter European supermarkets," said Balluku./ CNA
