She was dismissed in 2022/ KPA reinstates Shkodra judge

The Special Appeals Chamber has reinstated Shkodra judge Ermira Dedja.

Judge Dedja was previously dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission. The decision was made on January 12, 2022, where a number of problems were noted in the asset and professionalism criteria.

The decision was taken today by the panel of the Special Appeals Chamber, composed of Sokol Çomo (presiding judge), Rezarta Schuetz (rapporteur), Albana Shtylla, Ina Rama and Natasha Mulaj.

According to the KPA, the decision was taken unanimously, is final and has immediate effect.

"At the end of the trial in the deliberation room, the trial panel, based on article 66, point 1, letter "b" of law no. 84/2016, "On the temporary re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania", unanimously decided to amend decision no. 496, dated 12.01.2022 of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirm in office the subject of the re-evaluation Ermira Dedja. This decision is final and has immediate effect," the decision states. /CNA
