In an interview for Euronews Albania, Selmanaj said that the suspicions raised are correct as long as it is about a matter with many unknowns.

"It was the end of 2020 when I was also in the position of deputy. to the Prime Minister and while I was traveling home, a friend of mine, of my family told me that we are with two friends from Shkodra and please, if you have time, come and join us," said Selmanaj, who explained that the meeting was only for Dear friends from Albania.

He said that he did not even know his name and when he was contacted by an Albanian media yesterday, he realized that it was the same person.

Selmanaj said that the meeting lasted about 1 hour and a half and they have not had any meeting or contact./ CNA.al
