The Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, has responded to MP Erald Kapri regarding the honoring of the well-known figure of the prominent intellectual, Llazar Fundo.

Peleshi said that in his honor, a monument to Llazar Fundo is being erected in Korça. The Speaker of Parliament emphasized that Llazar Fundo is the man who wrote about a United Europe and there are still parliamentary subgroups that are inspired by Altiero Spinelli, who is his co-author or contemporary.

"I don't usually comment on your comments, but just for information since you mentioned the figure of Llazar Fundo, who is from the city where I come from. You have mentioned him several times very well, I am glad that you study his figure."

He is truly an undervalued figure, but I don't want to advocate for the left, it's not my place here. I myself have not seen any complex in all my work, even personally, to evaluate the figure of Llazar Fundo from the left.
