Ish-zyrtari i FBI-së, Charles McGonigal

Ish-zyrtari i FBI-së, Charles McGonigal u deklarua i pafajshëm sot në gjykatë, lidhur me akuzat se ka marrë para nga një ish-punonjës i shërbimeve inteligjente shqiptare dhe për mos-raportimin e kontakteve dhe lidhjeve dhe zyrtarë të shteteve të tjera.

Siç vihet në dukje në akt-padi ai ka patur kontakte të shumta mes të tjerash me biznesmenë, ish-zyrtarë dhe zyrtarë shqiptarë.

Në një seancë të gjykatës së Uashingtonit që zgjati më pak se 15 minuta dhe ku i pandehuri McGonigal mori pjesë virtualisht, u ra dakord që ai të gjykohej në gjendje të lirë dhe që seanca e ardhshme të mbahet në një moment të dytë. Seanca u përqendrua kryesisht në detajet teknike të procesit.

Të hënën, ai nuk i pranoi akuzat e tjera të ngritura ndaj tij në Nju Jork, se ka shkelur sanksionet amerikane ndaj Rusisë duke punuar për oligarkun rus Oleg Deripaska. Gjykata vendosi që ta lërë të lirë kundrejt pagesës, gjatë kohës që do të zhvillohet procesi gjyqësor, raporton VOA.
