Edmond Rizaj ka kaluar sot vettingun në radhët e policisë. Rizaj mban pozicionin si Drejtor i Drejtorisë së Hetimit, në Departamentin e Policisë Kriminale, pranë Drejtorisë së Përgjithshme të Policisë së Shtetit.

Po kush është Edmond Rizai?

Rizaj ka mbajtur postin si ish-shefi i OFL në Policinë e Shtetit dhe ishte kandidat potencial me Gledis Nanon për të marrë drejtimin e Policisë së Shtetit.

Ka mbajtur poste drejtuese për një kohë të gjatë që nga shef komisariati deri te zv/drejtor dhe drejtor i hetimit të krimit.

Rizaj qëndroi për disa kohë në akademi dhe u rikthye në Policinë e Shtetit si drejtues i drejtorisë hetimore në policisë e Shtetit, ish -OFL, pas largimit të Artan Shkëmbit, kur erdhi ministër i Brendshëm Bledi Çuçi.
