Investigations into the murder of Constable Enea Mekolli/Lamallari provide

The Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari, held an interpleasure with a group of deputies of the Democratic Party during today's plenary session.

Interplenary meeting held on the safety of police officers and operations, following the death of officer Enea Mekolli.

In his speech, Lamallari said that financial assistance has been granted for the two cases of officers Mekolli and Adri, as well as special financial assistance for the child of the deceased officer Enea Mekolli.

Regarding the incident where the officer lost his life, Lamallari said that an investigation has been launched by the Police Directorate and the AMP. Regarding the data revealed by the investigation, the Minister of Interior stated that he will make it public as soon as the investigative process is completed.

 

"Without a doubt, nothing brings back a fallen officer in the line of duty. Yesterday we granted financial assistance to the families of officers Mekolli and Adri. I have also initiated the procedure for financial support for the minor child of officer Enea Mekolli.

An investigation into the incident has been launched by both the Police Department and the AMP. Only the completion of this investigation in the most exhaustive manner can provide answers to the questions you have addressed.

"In fulfillment of the obligation for transparency, I will share the data as soon as we have concluded the investigations. Exhaustive investigations because it is about giving justice to an officer who is not among us ," said Lamallari.
