Today, the chairperson of the parliamentary group for Democracy and Integration, Mesila Doda, held a meeting with Ambassador Yuri Kim.

The focus of the meeting was the importance of Albania's strategic relations with the USA as well as the decisive role these relations have had in the history of Albania.

Doda has underlined the increase in the monitoring and controlling role of the Parliament, especially in today's situation of the opening of negotiations, where it is necessary to increase this role and the need for a national pact for integration, on the part of all political forces in Albania.

On the other hand, Ambassador Yuri Kim underlined that the US has always been engaged in increasing the level of democracy in the country, where citizens should feel powerful and involved./ CNA.al
