The deputy of the erotic video scandal, Ervin Salianji, risks prison in connection with the Babale case.

The hearing was today at the Court of Appeal, and Salianji was saved thanks to the request of the lawyer of Jetmir Olldash, who asked for the postponement of the hearing.

We recall that Salianji was found guilty of the criminal offense of 'false report' in relation to the "Babale" case and was sentenced to one year in prison by the Court of First Instance.

Jetmir Olldashi brought the case to Appeal, who was sentenced to 6 months in prison converted to 100 hours of community service.

If the Appeal will confirm the decision of the First Instance, then MP Salianji will go to prison.

After he managed to escape today, Salianji tried to treat it as a political issue, even though the first-degree charges were filed against him.

"As you can see, the judicial body is not being formed yet. You don't even have anywhere to go to show your will, to say that I will be there. It's not a criminal case, it's a case where I sued the government. The judges and prosecutors who have dealt with this case have been dismissed by Vetting", said Salianji./CNA.al
