The Mayor of the Municipality, Erion Veliaj, inaugurated the Bashkim Fino school, from where he did not shy away from irony for the opposition.

During the speech at the inauguration of the school, Veliaj said that those who complain that Albania is not livable, are precisely those who have luxurious villas in Lalëzi Bay.

 " I listen to those who say that there is no way to live in Albania. Does Albania have difficulties? Undoubtedly, but today our neighborhood, our Albania, has become a little better, because there is a new school. I believe that things are done when everyone works, when everyone does their own thing.

Çuditërisht, ata që bërtasin më shumë dhe thonë se në Shqipëri nuk jetohet, janë të gjithë me vila te Gjiri Lalëzit, nuk janë këtu në lagjen tonë. Nuk jetojnë as te “Mihal Grameno”, as te “Depoja Ujit”, as në Qytetin Studenti. Këta që thonë në Shqipëri nuk jetohet janë të gjithë te Gjiri i Lalzit. Kur të ikë i pari i tyre prej Shqipërisë, atëherë do të bindem se këtu nuk jetohet.
