GJKKO has issued a decision prohibiting the publication of the SPAK file for the last operation, where 50 arrest warrants were issued.

GJKKO has asked the media not to release the file until the preliminary investigations are completed.

CNA has decided to implement this decision and stop publishing the investigative materials.

"The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime within the framework of criminal proceedings No. 59 of 2022, after considering the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime for the appointment in the absence of security measures, with decision No. 49, dated 15.05.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, after ruling on security measures, among other things, based on Article 103 of the Criminal Code, has decided: the ban on the publication of the prosecutor's request or its content until the end of the investigations, as well as the complete ban on the publication of this decision until the end of the preliminary investigations.

Given that non-compliance with the obligations defined in Article 103 of the Code of Criminal Procedure constitutes a criminal offense under Article 295/a paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code under the title "Disclosure of secret acts or data", we ask for the understanding of all journalists who do not a more detailed information can be provided by the court regarding this issue", it is emphasized in the announcement of GJKKO.

We remind you that SPAK has hit 7 organized criminal groups and issued 50 arrest warrants. So far, 20 security measures have been executed, 14 in Albania and 6 abroad. 

The operation spread over Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë, Lezhë, Fushë Krujë and Rëshen, lasted for 20 hours, where approximately 30 BKH investigators, RENEA forces, State Police and 1 Europol officer were engaged. In total, an asset worth 4.5 million CNA was seized
