In the SPAK operation, where 50 arrest warrants were issued, 2 were for two police officers and 2 for former RENEA operatives.

It is learned that two of the police officers are Henerigert Mitri and Klodian Shahini.

Henerigert Mitri currently holds the position of head of the sector in the General Directorate of the State Police and on May 17, Friday, when the arrest operation began, he did not show up for work at the General Directorate of the State Police.

Meanwhile, Klodian Shahini, who was currently working in the operation room of the Dibra Police, did not show up for work. Their whereabouts are still unknown. 

During the SPAK mega-operation, a total of seven criminal groups were hit, and assets worth 4.5 million euros were seized. 

Of the arrest warrants, 14 of them were executed in Albania and 6 abroad where, thanks to the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with their counterparts, it has become possible to arrest Albanian citizens in Italy (2 persons), Germany (1 person), Spain (1 ) and Belgium (2).

The investigations showed that at the center of these criminal groups was the criminal group created and directed by Ervis Martinaj, the gambling boss who has disappeared. /CNA
