"Hate speech more online"/ Karamuço: I believe in civic anger,

Security expert Ervin Karamuço commented today on the developments with the protests taking place in the country.  

Invited to the show "Now", Karamuço said that hate speech is more noticeable on social networks.

As Karamuço emphasized, the protest took on larger proportions after the clashes in Zvërnec, while emphasizing that it is more about pure civic anger than politicians.

"This issue started with an event in Zvërnec, which is inexcusable. This related to the police there, the way they acted, the reaction to the citizens, the siege, the paramilitary forces. It encouraged the citizens to look at it in a macro aspect, why they were not heard, why there is no transparency and then it reached Tirana with this type of development that has been going on for about 10 days. It started with the impact of tourism in Albania, which has its own light and shadow, security, overlaps, endless trials, queues in the courts. The problem is whether we get the satisfaction from our tourism. I believe in pure civic anger. I am far from politics. This is an exercise in democracy and it must continue. In terms of security, hate speech is more online. You cannot set a security perimeter for protesters in the middle of the boulevard, when the protests are on, then they throw water on children and women", - said Karamuço ./CNA
