Invited to today's episode of the podcast "Different, but Together", by therapist Debora Zelaj, was Valentina Kondaj, the mother of two 27-year-old boys with autism.

Speaking about her sons, Valentina says that her two sons are opposite types. She further revealed that she realized that her sons were on the autism spectrum from a young age, when she noticed that something was not normal in her children.

During her story, Valentina Kondaj also shared her difficulties with her children's education, saying that kindergarten did not accept them and she had to find a special school.

 

" They are two opposite types and why are they twins. One is calmer and more sensitive, the other more impulsive. From a young age I could see that something was not going as normal. I was worried about the speech part, we started doing all the examinations. They didn't accept them in kindergarten, I had difficulties, however I found a special school and they started first grade. They don't both speak. I had no information, but by living with them I learned to understand them.

"Both are different in their learning abilities. Mateo is easier to manage, Mario is more difficult ," said Valntina Kondaj.
