GJKKO issues the decision/ 2 years of probation for Fatos Tushe

GJKKO sentenced the former mayor of Lushnjë Municipality, Fatos Tushe, to 2 years of probation this Wednesday.

SPAK demanded 17 months in prison for the former mayor of Lushnja, but GJKKO decided on 2 years of probation.

He was convicted for committing the criminal offense of "Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or any other person who has the legal obligation to declare", in the form of concealment and of false declaration, provided by article 257/a, second paragraph of the Criminal Code.

From the investigations, it has been proven that the former mayor of Lushnjë made a false declaration and concealed wealth.

Specifically, he did not declare an apartment in Vlora./ CNA
