The race for the head of SPAK/KLP announces when the interview of 4 candidates

The High Prosecutorial Council has published the date when interviews with candidates for the new head of the Special Prosecution Office will take place.

KLP announces that interviews will take place on December 11, 2025, starting at 09:00.

The interviews will be conducted in alphabetical order and will then continue with the selection of the SPAK director.

The candidates for the new head of SPAK are:

For the conduct of interviews with candidates and the election of the Head of the
Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime
With Decision no. 286, dated 17.09.2025, “On the announcement of the vacancy for the Head of the
Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime”, the High Prosecutorial Council announced
the start of the procedures for the promotion to the position of Head of the Special Prosecution Office against
Corruption and Organized Crime.
After meeting the specified deadline and reviewing the candidacies that have expressed interest in this
position, with Decision no. 320, dated 20.102.2025, “On the approval of the list of candidates who
meet the legal conditions for candidacy for Head of the Special Prosecution Office against
Corruption and Organized Crime”, the High Prosecutorial Council has approved the list of
candidates who meet the legal conditions for candidacy for Head of the Special Prosecution Office
against Corruption and Organized Crime.
In accordance with Article 38, of Decision no. 303, dated 19.09.2023, “On the approval of the Regulation “On
the criteria and procedure for the promotion of prosecutors to the Special Prosecution Office against
Corruption and Organized Crime”, the High Prosecutorial Council announces that, on
11.12.2025, Thursday, at 09.00, it will conduct interviews with candidates, in
alphabetical order, and will continue with the election of the Head of the Special Prosecution Office against
Corruption and Organized Crime.
