The race for the head of BKH / The interview phase ends

SPAK has announced that the interview phase for candidates running for director of BKH has been completed.

The SPAK announcement states that the interviews started at 09:00 and lasted 45 minutes for each candidate.

The interview focused on assessing the candidates' professional knowledge, leadership skills, and approach to the challenges at the helm of BKH.

On July 24 and 25, the candidates took the polygraph test.

After conducting the polygraph test on July 24 and 25, the interview phase for the selection of the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) concluded today.

The interviews started at 09:00, at the premises of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) and lasted 45 minutes for each candidate.

This phase, monitored by international representatives, focused on assessing the candidates' professional knowledge, leadership skills, and approach to the challenges associated with the position of Director of the BKH.

At the end of this phase, the Selection Committee decided that all seven candidates would undergo the background check and asset declaration phase, in accordance with Article 6 of Law No. 95/2016 “On the organization and functioning of institutions to combat corruption and organized crime”.

SPAK reaffirms its commitment to guaranteeing a transparent, fair and based on clear professional and legal criteria.

 

There are 7 candidates in the race for the head of the BKH: Andi Pogaçe, Gledis Nano, Artur Beu, Gentjan Shehaj, Joni Keta, Elton Kërluku and Gentian Ndoi.
