Following the arrest of former RENEA special agent Altin Morina, who is suspected of drug trafficking and participation in a criminal group, stormy developments have occurred at Police Station No. 2 in Tirana.

According to reports, the chief of crimes at this police station has been removed from duty and transferred to another position.

Journalist Glidona Daci has publicly requested an explanation from the Minister of Interior about this situation.

The journalist states that the police only act cruelly towards ordinary people, while their former colleagues, who are suspected of involvement in organized crime, should not be touched without receiving approval from above.

She emphasizes that the police are not acting based on the law but on clientelistic connections.

"Have you seen Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha? Does he have information about what happened at Police Station number 2 in Tirana? Is this the new spirit they brought to the police?"

Will the Minister come out to provide clarifications regarding this situation, that the State Police is not adding water to the fire. Minister Hoxha trumpeted the new spirit in the ranks of the blue uniforms, but apparently this is worse than what I left behind.
