Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with the farmers of Fier.

During his conversation with the farmers, Rama refuted the rumors that people in the village are dying for bread, since according to Rama, 500 million euros of exports are being targeted.

He also emphasized that agriculture and the countryside have a future.

 "Only products that are thrown away and not those that are exported are shown on TV. We are targeting 500 million euros of exports. We are aiming to reach half a billion this year for exports, fruit and vegetable exports. Since we took office, the land under cultivation has doubled. The Albanian village has a future. The complete opposite of what is preached. They say that in the village they are dying for bread, but the reality is quite different. Here you earn more if you work outside, you earn more on your father's land", said Rama./ CNA.al
