The 11th protest of the opposition, citizens and the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater was accompanied by tense moments.

The protesters are determined to continue the battle and the mission until the departure of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

Today's protest was powerful. There were strong tensions between the police and the protesters. To disperse the protesters, the police used spray, tear gas and water.

Some of the protesters and deputies were injured by the tear gas. Also, one of the most climactic moments was the "throwing" of mayor Erion Veliaj into the trash can.

They took a mannequin, where the image of Veliaj can be seen, handcuffed and dressed in the clothes of a prisoner.

They threw the mannequin in the trash can, to give the mayor the message that he should be handcuffed and serve the punishment for the incinerator affair and the "5D" file.

The protesters and the opposition will not withdraw from their mission and struggle.

The 12th protest will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 11:00 a.m./ CNA
