Spicy photo/ What was not seen from the opposition protest

For about an hour and a half, the opposition protested in front of the Presidency of the Assembly, while the meeting of the mandate council for the immunity of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was taking place.

Hundreds of citizens joined the opposition in the square. The protest was opened by the head of the FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, and closed by the speech of Berisha, who refused to go to the mandate council meeting.

The protest was peaceful, while at its end Berisha warned of a series of protests every Thursday of the Assembly and another one on December 27 in front of the Supreme Court.

Also present at the protest was the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi-Berisha, who did not make a speech, but told the media that she had gone as a citizen.
