Earlier, CNA published an exclusive material regarding the truth of the situation at the "Thoma Turtulli" library in Korça.

Official sources told CNA about the phase of the works at the library and in which parts specific repairs are being carried out.

CNA has provided photographic materials and filmed footage showing where the library materials of the "Thoma Turtulli" library in Korça are located, which were in fact not removed to be replaced, but to be restored.

The following photos show that the door is located in a barn and is being restored to its previous condition. It is being cleaned of the oil paint, any damage it may have suffered over the years, and will be returned and placed back where it was.

A duralumin door has been temporarily installed in the library. It was found as a solution because it will be a construction site and could not be left without a door, because vagrants, unauthorized people could enter the facility during the works, and such a door was installed to protect it.

The area will be fenced off to carry out a complete reconstruction.

A very poor condition of the facility, which very soon, with an investment of 250 million old lek, is expected to turn the library of special historical and cultural importance for the city of Korça into a true heritage asset.

The library, above all, will serve the function of children, and even more so, with the form it will take. In addition to a library, there will also be technology rooms, computers, and a reading room, for the function of children and citizens.
