The expert Vladimir Ikonomi showed this evening how counterfeit money is examined.

Ikonomi said that there is a growing trend of counterfeiting of banknotes and there are many examination requests for the 100 euro and 50 euro denominations.

"We check the banknotes, because recently there are many requests for the 100 euro, 50 euro denominations and we compare them with the database, this is the world database of every banknote that is in circulation", he said to "Top Story".

Furthermore, the expert revealed that Albanians falsify more investigation documents.

"Albanians falsify more investigation documents, use different methods, for properties they have many requests and examinations that are required by the court for notary contracts and which are suspected to be falsified compared to us.
