The head of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, in a post on social networks, says that "Euro 2024", the most important football event in the world, starts in the evening. 

The duke says that we have reached this point full of merit, determined from the beginning and now we have to enjoy it. He emphasizes that our desire is great to go to the next round and there is no reason why we should not try. 

"The day of Euro 2024 has arrived! In the evening, the most important football event in the world starts and we, Albania, are among the contestants. We have reached this point full of merit, determined from the beginning and now we must enjoy it. We represent a nation and I am sure that all the boys will do their best to elevate the name of Albania. Despite the strong opponents we have in front of us, the united team will try to make a mark. Italy is the first in line, then come Croatia and Spain. Our desire is to go to the next round and there is no reason not to try. The moment has come, let's enjoy it!", says Duka./CNA
