The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted regarding the decision of the Court of Appeal regarding the seal of the Democratic Party, which it gave to Sali Berisha's Democratic Party.
The US Embassy, ??in a reaction to the media, said that it has not changed its approach to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who was declared "non-grata" in May 2021.
The press office of the American embassy declares that one should be careful about cooperation with "non-women" persons.
"Our position regarding designated 'non-grata' individuals remains unchanged: we do not engage with individuals designated under US sanctions authority, and everyone should carefully consider how they work with individuals designated by the US."
