The US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, held a meeting with the Turkish ambassador Kagan Atay, where she expressed her condolences for the lives lost after the tragic earthquakes that shook Turkey.
In her message, Kim writes that the US will stand by the Turkish people in these difficult times.
"On behalf of the US embassy in Tirana, I have expressed my deepest condolences to my colleague, the Turkish ambassador in Tirana, Kagan Atay, for the suffering caused by the earthquakes in Turkey. We are with our Turkish friends in this difficult time", writes Yuri Kim./ CNA.al
