Attacks on the Rozafa Tower Hotel / Investor: The management that is becoming a
Hotel Rozafa Tower

The investor of "Hotel Rozafa Tower", Agustin Uldedaj, has reacted regarding the political statements that have been made regarding this project.

Through social networks, Uldedaj clarifies that "Hotel Rozafa Tower" is a private investment of Rozafa Group, a business company with long experience, among others, in the field of tourism.

Uldedaj explains that "Hotel Rozafa Tower" is a private investment, of "Rozafa Group", in a plot of land with ownership certified by state institutions for 14 years, a fact that can be verified by anyone who is interested in this issue.

"The Rozafa Hotel and the entire plot are private property, as is the project and investment for the Rozafa Tower Hotel," he says.

Uldedaj further emphasizes that the politicization of this private investment, the personal attacks on investors, are senseless.

He underlines that the leadership that is being given to a part of Shkodra residents by political individuals is shameful and malicious.

Full reaction:

Dear friends and well-wishers,

Respected from Shkodra,

Two days ago, in respect of all those who showed interest in the Rozafa Tower Hotel international project, we made a public clarification. This is also for step-by-step transparency regarding this ambitious project, a challenge for us as private investors.

I have followed, not without concern, some reactions that are not at all logical and therefore, I am reacting again, again out of respect for all interested persons.

Hotel Rozafa Tower is a private investment of Rozafa Group, a business company with long experience, among others, also in the field of tourism. Since it was a big and challenging project, we organized an international competition, with an international jury, which selected the winning project.

Up to this moment, we, as private investors, have only proposed the project. Local and central institutions, according to laws and regulations, will review and make decisions. As until now, everything is and will be transparent, in the eyes of everyone, in broad daylight and in compliance with all criteria.

As we mentioned, the Rozafa Tower Hotel is a private investment, by the Rozafa Group, on a plot of land with ownership certified by state institutions for 14 years, a fact that can be verified by anyone who is interested in this matter. Hotel Rozafa and the entire plot are private property, as is the project and investment for Hotel Rozafa Tower.

The politicization that is being done to this private investment, the personal attacks on us as investors, are senseless. The management that is being done to a part of Shkodra residents by political individuals is shameful and malicious.

Rozafa Group's private investment in our property cannot be used as an argument to carry out the political attacks of the day against opponents.

It had never happened until today, neither in Shkodër nor in Albania, that political individuals undertook protests or online petitions against a private project and investment. This is nothing but an attack on private business, low and a bad signal for all businesses.

We would kindly request that politics, of all wings, stay away from this private investment. For the project already made public, the state institutions charged by law with this function will decide. Let's let them review the project, analyze it and make their own decisions.

In the end, we want to thank all those from Shkodra and beyond Shkodra who have welcomed and supported the project, encouraging us in our challenge to bring a new, higher standard for tourism in the North of the country. We assure you that the encouragers of this project are several times more numerous than those who write on social networks for petty political interests, due to lack of information or victims of directed disinformation./ CNA
