Dubai has become the "home" of drug and crime lords. Many criminals take refuge in Dubai as this country does not allow extradition.

Regarding this issue, SPAK head Altin Dumani spoke to TV Klan, where he stated that this is not only in the hands of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

He emphasized that 4 requests have been made for the extradition of Albanian citizens from the United Arab Emirates, which are in the process of consideration by the Arab authorities.

He has left the ball to the government saying that he has addressed this problem in the report and it is up to other authorities to follow this up.

"The Special Prosecutor's Office has transmitted to the Ministry of Justice four requests for the extradition of Albanian citizens from the United Arab Emirates, which are still in the process of consideration by the Arab authorities. Extradition from the United Arab Emirates is not only a problem for Albania, but also for all other countries of the European Union and beyond. I have addressed this problem in the report, it is up to the other authorities to follow it in the future", said Dumani./ CNA.al
