The Directorate of Prisons has approved the request for a 5-day leave for Fredi Beleri to take the oath as a member of the European Parliament.

The leave for Beleri will start from Monday.

Beler will travel to Strasbourg to take the oath and receive his mandate.

The leave ends on July 20, 2024, after which Beleri will return to Fier prison to serve his sentence.

"Following the request of the convict Dhionisis (Alfred) Beleri for paid leave in order to follow the works in the European Parliament on July 15-20, 2024 in Strasbourg, referring to the Order of the General Director no. 733 prot, dated 06.04.2024 "For the composition and functioning of the Monitoring Board of the granting of special and rewarding leave for prisoners in IEVP" was granted a rewarding leave for the convict Dhionisis (Alfred) Beleri from July 15 to July 20, 2024.
