Journalist raped/One of the perpetrators identified

A journalist was physically assaulted by several people this evening in Shkodra, around 8:00 PM.

Journalist Ervin Dushi claims that he was raped by citizen Prek Gjoni, who according to him is the owner of a supermarket chain.

Following the report, the police identified one of the perpetrators suspected of being involved in the conflict, citizen P.GJ.

Work is underway to identify other persons involved in this conflict and escort them to the Shkodra Police Station.

"Citizen ED, a journalist, appeared at the Shkodra Police Station and reported that at around 8:00 PM he was punched by several citizens in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, in front of the "Xhedis" supermarket."

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services carried out the first procedural actions and identified one of the persons, citizen P. Gj., while work is underway to identify other persons involved in this conflict and escort them to the Shkodra Police Station.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and its legal documentation," the police announced./ CNA
