The deputy of the group of dissidents, Gazment Bardhi, has shown why the negotiations with the official PD failed.

Invited to the "Informative Radar" show, Bardhi justified himself by saying that the other side was not open to resolving the impasse.

"The part of the Parliamentary Group that I represent extended a hand of cooperation for the benefit of the democrats, but the other side was not open to finding a solution to the impasse regarding the local elections," said Bardhi.

It was also stated that Edi Paloka requested that the statute of the Assembly of December 11 be recognized.

“Kush i drejton primaret? I kam dorëzuar me shkrim propozimet e mia. Pika tre i pranon primaret, votën dhe njeh një proces të ndjekur në mënyrë konsensuale. Ata thonë të njohësh procesin tim, që e drejtoj unë, me rregulla që i caktoj unë…Nuk kisha hyrë në bisedime për të bërë pazare. Primaret janë pranuar, ajo që kemi shtuar ka të bëjë me balancimin e opinionit të anëtarëve të partisë dhe vrojtimit të opinionit publik. Argumenti ishte qesharak, nuk kemi para për të bërë sondazhe…Nuk ramë dakord edhe për këshillin drejtues. Na thanë që do të kishim të drejtë të merrnim pjesë të marrim në primare. Për këtë nuk kishim nevojë për leje. Duhej të kishim përfaqësues në komisionet që ngriheshin. Të na akomodonin brenda statutit të tyre. Praktikisht kërkonin të njihnim statutin e tyre.”

Asked if there is still any possibility that the PD will go united in these elections, Gazment Bardhi said that they will be open to talks.
